The Sandpit

I found this while searching around on youtube about miniatures. I find it pretty amazing. There is a blog about this video. It helps explain the process of making these images.

The artist said the video is compiled of a series of stills shot on his camera. He used over 35,000 stills! I really recommend reading the blog. I learned a good bit.

The artist also said his video was highly inspired by Koyaanisqatsi. I know we discussed a lot about this movie in Brent's class. Still yet to see it.
