My story of another is from my Mom, she felt that one of the most significant moments of her life was when her brother was arrested and convicted of murder. While at first these photos were uncomfortable to shoot, I feel that it has helped my Mom and myself become more comfortable talking about what most would consider "dirty laundry" in the family.
